Phillip R.A. Mastagni, Senior Associate (Civil Litigation)
Phillip Mastagni is senior associate in the Civil Litigation Department of Mastagni, Holstedt, Amick, Miller & Johnsen who specializes in Civil Litigation, including trial and appellate litigation in California and federal courts. Phillip is an experienced litigator as well as a PORAC Legal Defense Fund panel attorney and is admitted in U.S. District Court, Southern, Eastern, Northern and Central Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Phillip has handled complex civil litigation, including breach of contract, business tort, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair business practice, Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act 29 U.S.C. 501 violation, aviation, products liability, tort, catastrophic injury, employment, and wrongful termination litigation. Phillip has handled litigation from inception through trial and jury verdict. Phillip is also well versed in international civil litigation, having focused his studies at the Georgetown University Law Center in International and European Union Law.
Phillip has been involved in several international litigation matters, including aviation litigation requiring several months of international civil discovery within the European Union. In addition to litigation matters, Phillip consults and frequently lectures corporate clients and labor organizations.
