Richard J. Romanski, Senior Associate (Employment Law)
Richard J. (Dick) Romanski is a senior associate in the Labor Department of Mastagni, Holstedt, Amick, Miller and Johnsen. He is Chief Counsel Emeritus for the California Association of Highway Patrolmen (CAHP). He acts as corporate counsel to the firm's largest client associations and is a senior consultant to our law enforcement clients on union organization and management issues, contract disputes, and various legal questions. Dick also leads long-range planning seminars for our association clients. In over 30 years as a law enforcement attorney, Dick has represented more than 1,700 peace officers in disciplinary matters of every level of complexity and severity. He provides training at classes sponsored by the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) and is an instructor at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
