Jeffrey Schaff, Associate (Labor & Employment Law)
Jeffrey M. Schaff is an Associate with the Labor Department of Mastagni, Holsedt, Amick, Miller & Johnsen. Mr. Schaff represents public sector employees in administrative investigations, hearings, and civil litigation on behalf of PORAC Legal Defense Fund and various state and local labor associations. Mr. Schaff also represents individuals against criminal prosecutions particularly in situations where a conviction may jeopardize their employment or peace office status. As a former Public Defender and private defense attorney, Mr. Schaff has developed a strong reputation with judges and prosecutors while maintaining his unwavering belief in his client’s rights.
Long recognized as a rising star in the criminal defense community, Mr. Schaff is quickly earning an outstanding reputation for his trial skills. Mr. Schaff gives back to the community by teaching trial skills as an adjunct professor at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law.
Mr. Schaff earned his Juris Doctor degree from Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where he twice led their nationally ranked Mock Trial Team to the National Tournament. Mr. Schaff also earned his Bachelor of Science degrees from the California State University, Long Beach, double majoring in Business Management and Marketing.
