NEW CONTRACT REACHED FOR ROSEVILLE CITY POLICE

Under a new two-year contract agreement covering January 2003 to December 2004, Mastagni, Holstedt & Amick’s Labor Negotiation team obtained several new benefits and salary increases for the Roseville POA. Among the changes are:

First Year
• A 5% salary increase starting February 1, 2003
• Officers with an advanced post or B.A. degree receive an additional $438.00 a month
• Health insurance is increased by $129 to $669.10
• YSO’s are eligible for a 9/80 workweek
• Improvements to off duty court pay

Second Year
• Salary increase of 3% to 5% of the Consumer Price Index
• Officers with an intermediate post or an A.A. degree receive an additional $219.00 a month
• Health increase premiums are paid 80% by the employer and 20% by the employee
