In cases such as Sanchez v. Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (1990) 217 Cal.App.3d 346 (vocational rehabilitation), CJS Co. v. Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (1999) 74 Cal.App.4th 294 (post-resignation benefits), and Jackson v. Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (2005) 133 Cal.App.4th 965 (heart trouble presumption), Mastagni, Holstedt, Amick, Miller, Johnsen & Uhrhammer time and again has been responsible for enforcing the rights of injured public employees and other injured workers in California.

With recent changes in workers' compensation benefits imposed by the State of California, Mastagni, Holstedt, Amick, Miller, Johnsen & Uhrhammer has continued to be on the leading edge of workers' compensation litigation with new approaches to independent medical evaluation and coordinated case management. Our attorneys and staff work together to provide exemplary and timely assistance to injured workers from the onset of a case through litigation and appeal.
