Corina is an attorney, wife, and mother determined to serve others and increase just outcomes through law practice. After completing an A.S. degree in 1992, she worked for nearly eight years as a paralegal, where she nurtured her lifelong passion for justice and dreamed of becoming a lawyer. In 2009, however, the economic tornado sweeping the country devastated her family, so Corina responded by starting a business with a $100 investment. She returned to college in 2014 to finish the degree she began 24 years earlier. Corina earned a second A.S. Degree and then graduated from CSU Chico with a B.S. in Business Marketing in 2019, making her the first woman in her family to earn a college degree.
Next, she attended UC Davis School of Law at King Hall, where she focused on criminal justice, interning at four prosecutor’s offices at both county and federal levels. She also earned a Public Service Certificate and a Witkin Award for her scholarship in Juvenile Justice. Additionally, she was a research assistant to the law school’s Dean, Kevin R. Johnson. Corina and her daughter both graduated from U.C. Davis in 2022, and her son is a college student working towards becoming an RN, like his dad. Corina’s husband of 30 years is a cardiovascular surgical nurse helping to save lives. Finally, in May 2023, Corina ended her nine-year educational journey by taking the California State Bar oath of office and becoming an attorney.
In her free time, Corina enjoys stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), hiking, traveling, gardening, home improvement projects, and time with family and friends celebrating life. At Mastagni Holstedt, Corina’s goal is to serve others by balancing the scales of justice for her clients. She is currently practicing worker’s compensation law, representing employees in their claims. Corina is passionate about your rights and ensuring you receive the benefits owed to you while zealously protecting your legal interests.
