Peter D. Lewicki
Peter D. Lewicki joined Mastagni Holstedt, A Professional Corporation, as an associate attorney in the Labor and Employment Department. He represents public sector employees in administrative and disciplinary investigations, hearings, critical incident investigations, and criminal defense. Peter’s practice also includes trial and arbitration of unfair practice and contract enforcement.
Peter was previously a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in King County, Washington for eleven years, where he prosecuted offenses including DUI, assault, financial fraud and identity theft, robbery, drug offenses, domestic violence, sex offenses, and child abuse. Peter was recognized with the prosecutor’s Outstanding Trial Advocacy – Criminal Litigation Award in 2015 after a successful prosecution of a complex, multi-week jury trial for identity theft and criminal conspiracy in a statewide credit-card-skimming operation. Peter has tried over 60 jury trials and has handled dozens of criminal appeals.
Peter earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. In law school he clerked with the Washington Court of Appeals and interned with the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Peter received his B.A. from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, where he competed on the men’s lacrosse team as a midfielder.
