Stacy McPherson is a Labor Relations Consultant in the Labor and Employment Department at Mastagni Holstedt, A.P.C. In her current role, Stacy negotiates Labor Agreements and represents Public Service Employees in labor relations matters.

With more than 26 years in law enforcement, Stacy started her career with Contra Costa County as a Reserve for the Criminalistics Laboratory. Stacy later pursued a sworn career with the Probation Department. Stacy started in detention until she was promoted into the field. Stacy worked 12 years as an Electronic Monitoring/Home Supervision Officer and 3 years as a Transportation Officer before returning to detention. During her 19-year career, Stacy also served as a Defensive Tactics Instructor, a Field Training Officer, a Drug Recognition Expert and a Verbal Judo Instructor before an injury ended her career.

Stacy then pursued a non-sworn career with the Martinez Police Department, working in Property and Evidence. While with Martinez, Stacy served 3 terms as the President of the Martinez Police Non-Sworn Employees’ Association. Stacy was also an active member of the California Association of Property and Evidence.

Stacy is currently a member of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and the 100 Club of Contra Costa County.
