Stacie Casabian is a Senior Labor Relations Consultant in the Labor and Employment department at Mastagni, Holstedt A.P.C. In her current role, Stacie negotiates labor agreements such as Memorandum of Understandings, Side Letter Agreements, and Personnel Rules. She mediates disputes between employee groups and employers and conducts meet and confers. Stacie represents management groups, fire personnel, police officers, police employees, probation officers, correctional officers, and civilian employees in labor relations matters. Stacie teaches Association Leadership classes for the firm, which provides clients education on labor relations matters, Meyers-Milias-Brown Act, and association leadership. She possesses extensive experience in class and compensation surveys, contract costing, research and compiling data for negotiations, drafting comprehensive proposals, and financial analysis. Stacie supports her clients by advising on best practices, association leadership, labor issues, and long-term strategies.
Stacie possesses a background in county administration, management, and human resources within the public sector. In her role with county administration, she gained extensive experience in negotiations, meet and confers, compensation studies, assisted with the development of the county budget; as well as creating, editing, and writing policies and personnel rules. She later moved into a role in probation where she oversaw grant funded programs, worked with the criminal court and district attorney, recruited community engagement, developed and expanded programs, and oversaw program operations. While working in probation she served as the president of her association.
Stacie’s formal education consists of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, with a concentration in Criminology and a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, with a concentration in Public Administration.
