Raul Calderon is an associate attorney in the Civil Litigation Department at Mastagni Holstedt, APC. He represents clients in all aspects of civil litigation, which includes personal injury. Prior to joining the firm’s Civil Litigation Department, Raul practiced in Mastagni Holstedt’ s Labor and Employment Department and Criminal Defense practice, where he represented clients in administrative and disciplinary investigations, hearings, critical incident investigations, and criminal proceedings.

Before joining Mastagni Holstedt, Raul served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, where he handled misdemeanor and felony cases. Prior to the DA’s Office, Raul worked at a firm near Boston, Massachusetts, where he handled a variety of matters, which included business litigation, maritime law, and labor issues involving the fishing industry.

Raul earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Sacramento. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where he was an active member of the Mock Trial Team and competed in competitions across the United States. Raul is bilingual in English and Spanish and takes pride in helping Spanish-speaking clients navigate their legal matters. He is a proud member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Sacramento Latino Bar Association.
