Sean Currin is a Senior Associate at Mastagni, Holstedt, A Professional Corporation in the Labor and Employment Department. Mr. Currin represents public sector employees in wide array of litigation including administrative investigations, critical incidents, labor arbitration hearings and civil litigation. Mr. Currin serves as general counsel to large public safety unions throughout the state of California. Mr. Currin is experienced in the Peace Officers’ Procedural Bill of Rights Act, the Firefighters Procedural Bill of Rights Act, the Meyers-Millias-Brown Act, and the California Labor Code. Mr. Currin often provides law enforcement officers with training presentations regarding their rights.

While attending Thomas Jefferson School of law, Mr. Currin worked at the District Attorney’s Office in the gang unit and the misdemeanor/felony division. In addition to working at the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Currin worked at a civil litigation firm in Oakland assisting in complex litigation cases related to asbestos. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Currin attended the University of California at Berkeley. While playing football for the Golden Bears, he was a four year letter winner in the football program, and was a starting scholarship wide receiver.
